About the artist

Growing up in the Australian outback, I was surrounded by inspirational women who did the work of men, had limited social outings and reared children amidst the hardships of drought, isolation and the lack of female company. These women have always inspired me; beneath the dust and toil was always a feminine girl! I love nothing more than sending a gorgeous girl to a gorgeous home!

My inspiration was drawn from strong, resilient ladies when creating this stunning girl hence she signifies the empowerment of women. Miss Milan is purposeful and uncovers the strength of all women as they address life’s challenges in a dignified and resilient manner. She’s a feminine authority and a visionary, filled with creativity and love.

About the artist

Ana Nesimovski was born in Belgrade, Serbia. Her first two decades in art was occupied by ballet and contemporary dance. After her dancing career she studied Textile Design, Technology and Management. She has designed a vast number of ballet clothes, masks and tiaras for the children’s Theatre. Her main interest and inspiration is in textile and jewelery design.About the art

About the artist

John Klein is a contemporary Australian artist who has been engaged in creative pursuits his entire career. His love for the visual arts has seen him drawn to the mediums of film, photography and painting. He is a Doug Moran National Portrait Prize finalist (2017) and Kennedy Prize finalist (2018).

This painting is part of a body of work that looks at the interplay of mid-winter light on objects from my collection. It features an unusual variety of clivia flowers from my garden displayed in an Art Deco vase by Beeswick sitting on an Arts and Crafts table runner that was hand-sewn by my wife.

About the Artist

Ana Nesimovski was born in Belgrade, Serbia. Her first two decades in art was occupied by ballet and contemporary dance. After dancing career she finished The College of Textile Design, Technology and Management in Belgrade, on department for Textile and Clothing Design.
She designed a vast number of ballet clothes, masks and tiaras for the children's Theatre. Her main interest and inspiration is in textile and jewellery design, but she is also working as freelance costume and set designer for the Theatre and TV advertising. She is living and working in Belgrade.
