This silk Chiffon scarf was designed by Emma Donlevy from Australia.
Emma was an art teacher who later found time to focus on her own art. She loves printmaking, especially monoprinting, as a starting point for further experimentation with paint and the surfaces of work.
Textured surfaces, light and colour intrigue Emma as she seeks to capture the natural world around her, whether it be her home in the Blue Mountains, visits to Central Australia, travelling overseas or by the beach.

About the artwork
Tingkkarli (Lake Mary Ann) in Tennant Creek is an oasis for locals and visitors alike. It is a magical place at any time of the day, but at dusk, there is a special quality and a sense of stillness that you feel when sitting looking over the water and off into the expansive sky. The intensity of the colour is a speciality of dusk in Central Australia
